This vase had a few imperfections (terracotta thumbprints of mine) that I really wanted to highlight so I used a glossy transparent glaze on the outside. The thumbprints didn't stay super visible after the glaze firing, but it has one slight and delightful imperfection. The inside is a matte white, making it water safe.
